The following pages are excerpts from a recent vacation to Spain.which covered Madrid, Toledo, El Escorial, Avila, Segovia, La Granja, Barcelona, Montserrat, and Tarragona. The photos were taken by me and my wife with a simple point and shoot camera, hand held with no flash. I also recorded sounds on a Sony MiniDisc recorder. Each page contains a photo or movie and a sound. The sounds and movies are Quicktime 3.0.

You must have Quicktime 3.0 installed to view these pages. It is a free download for Windows or Mac from Apple Computer Download it. Install it. Make sure the Quicktime plug-in is in the plug-in folder of your browser. Launch your browser, then come back to this url. Previous versions of Quicktime may not be able to play the sound.

The sound is in stereo and is best heard on a set of speakers. A few of the sounds had to be recorded from some distance away.

The Tarragona pictures contain an object movie of a sunrise on the Mediterranean.Place your cursor over the sunrise, hold the mouse down and drag across it. The sun will come up.
